Rosewood Hotel Georgia Guest Reviews

Blending historic charm with modern luxury, the Rosewood Hotel Georgia is a five-star retreat in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Located right across from the Vancouver Art Gallery and just a short walk to the buzzing Robson Street Shopping District, this hotel is an ideal base for concert-goers who want to stay close to the action while enjoying refined comfort. With a saltwater lap pool, full-service spa, and gourmet dining, it's an upscale haven after a night of live music.
You can’t beat the location—many of Vancouver’s premier concert venues are just a quick stroll or rideshare away. The hotel offers a courtesy car service for downtown drop-offs, perfect for getting to shows without the stress. Late-night room service means you’re taken care of even after an encore, and the soundproofed rooms and plush bedding ensure a quiet, restful night. Check-in starts at 3:00 PM and check-out is a relaxed 12:00 PM, giving you time to sleep in after a late night out.
Dining here is a highlight. Bel Café offers gourmet coffee and sandwiches for a quick bite before heading out. After the show, enjoy light bites and cocktails at Reflections Outdoor Lounge or sip something classic at the 1927 Lobby Lounge. For a more elevated experience, Hawksworth Restaurant serves award-winning Canadian cuisine. And yes—there’s 24-hour room service, so you're covered no matter when you get back. A leisurely breakfast is also available, perfect for sleeping in.
While the hotel itself leans toward refined relaxation, you're just minutes from some of Vancouver’s best lounges, clubs, and live music bars. Start your night with a cocktail in the elegant Lobby Lounge or head out to nearby Granville Street for a livelier scene. When you're ready to wind down, the hotel's serene vibe is a welcome contrast to the city's buzz.
Guests rave about the exceptional service, beautifully appointed rooms, and the spa-like bathrooms with heated floors. Many love the unbeatable location for both concerts and sightseeing. The on-site dining gets top marks for quality and ambiance, and travelers appreciate the hotel’s quiet, restful atmosphere—especially after a long night out.
This is a luxury hotel, so prices can be on the higher side—especially during peak event weekends. Some guests note that the pool area is more suited to laps than lounging, and the courtesy car is subject to availability, so it’s a nice perk but not guaranteed.
If you're looking for a luxurious, centrally located stay with top-notch service and easy access to Vancouver’s music venues, Rosewood Hotel Georgia hits every note.

Liked: Beautiful. Very pleasant staff Linens were exceptional
Disliked: We arrived at about 8:30 pm and couldn’t hear the lovely woman who was checking us in. The piano bar was that loud.

Liked: The hotel charged us $46.20 upon check-in, and all fees and taxes were included. The hotel also charged us a $200 room deposit, which they have not yet processed. Our early check-in request was denied. We received our first room at 2:00 PM, and our second room after 3:00 PM.

Old School Luxury
Liked: The hotel has old world charm in buckets loads and also has a bar, restaurant, courtyard restaurant, etc. Our room was 609 and it was massive . It had 2 large beds; a good size lounge area; big bathroom and had lovely decor . The staff were incredibly helpful and kind . There is also a brilliant gym and indoor pool . It’s well located to all sights and shopping .
Disliked: Our first room looked directly in to the courtyard and so had absolutely no privacy . The hotel was happy to rectify this . Room 501.The cupboard space is inadequate for 2 people . And half the hanging space would have been for a child as it had draws underneath it .
