Liked: Gentleman at reception was pleasant and courteous even-though room was not available for check in at time stated on booking form.
Disliked: Room was at top of building, cramped, very hot, difficult to stand up straight in parts of it. I felt air conditioning machine did not compensate. Location of bed prevented shower room door from opening fully, had to enter sideways. Bed was quite uncomfortable. Facilities in bathroom/shower room quite tight, not very much space. Carpet on floor looked to me to be a bit worn and did not give a good impression similar to the painting/papering of the room. Wished I had 'flipflops' for walking on the floor. Wardrobe space was very limited and had little room given materials already placed inside e.g. an ironing board etc. Could not really sit on chair as my head was touching roof where table and chair and coffee making facilities were. Slant of roof limited where I could move around freely. Many stairs to be climbed to get to room, a lift would be a welcome addition in my opinion. Room looked a 'little rough', 'off-putting' and less than basic in my opinion. Might be an idea to reimagine the room if possible, and redecorate.

Excellent budget hotel, perfectly adequate...

Liked: Fifth visit in last few years. Location and cleanliness. Fair sized room, bedroom cleaned every day to a high standard and staff friendly. Fridge in room.

Liked: The distance of the hotel to the wireless wasnt that bad and their was shops within the location.
Disliked: I wasn't happy with my stay as it was a solo trip to london and I paid a good amount of money. My first room had a leak coming through the carpets and a funny smell. I had to soak up the carpet with my towels, and then when I changed room. There was a funny smell again in the bathroom of the second room, which I am really unhappy about. My first solo trip to london and my stay wasnt a nice experience.
