Disliked: Would be nice if you had a listing of all the restaurants in Yale Town as well in your book. We ate at Rosie's when we were there which was very good but would have liked to have more of a choice when we were looking for somewhere to eat on the second night we were there. We found them just by chance when we went for a walk following our dinner, again at Rosies.

The stay was good, but...

Liked: The size of the room was good.Rooms, facilities and areas have been renovated with fresh coat of paint.
Disliked: The continental breakfast was very basic and because of the booking.com rate, breakfast was not free of charge; it is an additional CAD 22.00 per person.The parking facility is ok, however, a 3rd day was charged, even when the car was parked only for 1 1/2 days and was returned on the third day in the morning, before the 1pm cutoff.The message to make sure "the cutoff at 1pm is enforced" was not provided by the reception. No mercy and we had to pay CAD 22.00 for the extra day.Additional note, the hotel is dated - it celebrated its 30 years anniversary and the wear and tear can be seen almost everywhere.

Liked: Convenient location;to downtown and what was exceptional is after an early morning arrival from overseas we were allowed to check in early which gave us the opportunity to rest and then still go out to look around. Staff were friendly and efficient, room was very nice, clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Nil

Disliked: This property is getting very long in the tooth and could use some updating. The sofa bed mattress in our room was disgusting, the HVAC super loud, and the fridge didn’t work.

Underwhelming.

Disliked: AC did not work on one of the hottest days of the year. We were offered a fan and then told it was not available when we took them up on their offer. We insisted and one was delivered to our room, thank goodness. For $500+ nightly, non-functional AC is unacceptable. As well, the pool seemed dirty with lots of hair and bits of debris.
