Rosedale on Robson Suite Hotel

Disliked: Would be nice if you had a listing of all the restaurants in Yale Town as well in your book. We ate at Rosie's when we were there which was very good but would have liked to have more of a choice when we were looking for somewhere to eat on the second night we were there. We found them just by chance when we went for a walk following our dinner, again at Rosies.

Exceptional

good value for a family...

Liked: good location, nice spacious suite, we enjoyed our stay. Hotel's fitness area and pool are limited, but work fine for basic relaxation needs
Disliked: the suit's dining area would benefit from additional light.

Disliked: Depressing and aged decor, unfriendly stuff

Very good

Liked: Great location, in my experience, rooms on the upper floors are nicer than the lower ones, even in the same rate category. My daughter loves the pool.
Disliked: The elevators are ridiculously busy at busier times. Waiting five minutes for one with space is frustrating.

Superb

Liked: Good hotel in perfect location. Almost all Vancouver highlights are reachable by walk. It's just too pricy, but the location paid off.

Nice place, great local restaurants

Liked: Bedroom was comfortable and the rooms quite spacious. Though appeared to be dated, we didn't mind. Several good restaurants nearby made it really great
Disliked: Dated feel of the place could do with a refurbishment.

Liked: Hotel was well located, and check in went pretty smoothly.Room was spacious and bed comfortable; room decoration definitely needs a huge refresh, it feels like we are in the 70's.
Disliked: Hotel is older but definitely needs a huge refresh, the walls are yellow... were probably white?Breakfast was a 22$ for something that is not worth it, you are better off eating on the other side of the street for half that price and better quality food and environment.Honestly very expensive for what it is. Will avoid in the future !

Good location

Liked: The room was spacious and the location was great. The decor and facilities within the room/bathroom were tired and could do with a refresh.
Disliked: The fan for the bathroom was incredibly loud, even after the fan was switched off and the bedroom door was closed. They also charged us for storing our bags after check out. We travel regularly and the vast majority of hotels offer this service as complimentary.
