Rooms are okay , clean...

Liked: Rooms were comfortable and stylish
Disliked: The key never worked , so each time the receptionist said it would work- we would walk to the room , it didn’t work - we would then have to walk back to reception for a staff member to follow us with a key - quite tedious every time . Also , we asked to pre- book a taxi for an event we were attending , the receptionist advised there was absolutely no need , come to reception and they would call one and it would come within minutes. We took her advice, we waited in reception- she could not get us a taxi , suggested to wait in the bar , if we had not been and chased , we would still be there now - after we waited and waited - nearly 45 mins - she then said that she had no idea how much longer it would take and to walk to the street to try and flag our own taxi . We also asked for advise on how long it was in a taxi ride to the event, so we could plan , we were told 25 mins - then when we asked the Bar staff whilst we were waiting he advised , no chance - minimum 50 min drive away - which made us even later . Very disappointed

nice location but noisy footstep...

Liked: the location was nice especially 5 min to paddington train station, by bus 10 min to Oxford street
Disliked: the Hotel was noisy because of Wooden basement ( ı was hearing the foot steps from upstairs rooms) the bed was unconfortable

Liked: A very comfortable and quiet room in an ideal location for Paddington Station. The staff in reception and in the dining room were courteous and efficient. The price is high but still represents good value for London if you attach importance to your creature comforts
