Elegant boutique hotel with lovely...

Liked: Beautiful decor, warm and helpful staff and great location!
Disliked: Took awhile to get room settled even after we checked in early. But they were very pleasant and resolved it. Also, room tight but it’s Europe!

Would definitely use this hotel...

Liked: Lovely room and amazingly quiet for central London

Nice hotel in good location.

Liked: Pretty room. We arrived early and were given a room where we could refresh and even shower and later they moved our belongings to our scheduled King room. Breakfast food was good. Short walk from the Paddington rail and tube station. Several good restaurants nearby. Quiet neighborhood.
Disliked: Breakfast/dining room was smaller than expected - we were always seated when coming down for breakfast but others had to wait for tables to be cleared. Never ate dinner there as 2 of 4 nights they had private parties and we were lucky to get a drink in the bar and felt chased back to our room. They requested a gratuity at check out but said it was "voluntary". Don't recall this was every mentioned on bookings or the hotels website and felt blind sighted. The staff was generally nice and helpful but this was unexpected and annoying.

Liked: The staff were extremely attentive and the inclusive breakfast was an excellent way to start each morning.

ok experience but I will...

Liked: great location - close to Paddington station/Hyde Park, nice neighborhoodstaff are friendly, albeit quite a few of them do not speak English as their native tongue, but not bad.
Disliked: (1) the air condition noise is VERY LOUD and can't be turned off. They are extremely bad in the bathroom and the restroom;(2) WiFi is very spotty and unstable. At the corner of the room where the desk is, my laptop won't register at all, But moving a few feet away the connection is fine. We stayed in a suite and in the living room WiFi drops randomly. (3) this is minor: the bed is very high (you almost need a ladder to climb up!) Not a show stopper just a bit odd and inconvenient.
