The only place to stay!
Liked: This was my fourth year in a row. The comfort and cleanliness of my room can’t be beat. Love meeting in the morning at the breakfast table with the other guests. I look forward to coffee on the patio chatting with host Peter. I come for Jazzfest but can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Peter and Ruby are so welcoming and friendly. Looking forward to next year!
Disliked: There is absolutely nothing that I don’t like.

Best B&B in New Orleans
Liked: We loved the owner, Peter and his wife Ruby, both very kind and lovely people that welcomed us into their B&B, they answered all of our questions and made the stay super easy and stress free. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and we had a fridge and microwave in the room. Peter gave us many suggestions on what to do within the French Quarter and also outside the city (we visited the Whitney Plantation - highly recommend!) Thank you for the kindness and hospitality Peter! We will definitely come back!
Disliked: Everything was great!

Best B&B - Highly Recommend
Liked: Quite, Very Comfortable Bed, Was on Main Floor, Very Clean, About 5 miles from French Quarter. Excellent places to Eat Within Walking Distance. Beautiful Room With Lovely Furniture. Peter and Ruby Are Very Nice!
Disliked: Breakfast Could Have Been Better, It Was a Little Scarce. No one was Around To See What You Could Have. A Little More Direction Would Have Been Very Helpful.Need to Replace Hair Dryer, Its Broken

Solo trip to NOLA
Liked: This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast and my first visit to New Orleans, a solo trip for a wedding. I didn’t want to stay in the busy downtown area, so I looked for somewhere quieter and more relaxed. From the moment I booked, the owner of the B&B reached out to make sure I had all the details, including how to get there, and gave me her cellphone number in case I had any questions. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the owners and given a tour of their lovely, cozy, and beautifully decorated home. The kitchen and lounge area were charming, and breakfast and drinks were available from 8–11 AM each day. My room was spotless and comfortable, and they even left thoughtful welcome gifts like water, snacks, and a cute mini calendar. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting their granddaughter, who kindly took me to lunch at Mings, a delicious Chinese restaurant literally next door! During lunch, she shared a bit of New Orleans history and gave great tips on places to check out (and avoid, haha). The whole family was incredibly kind and welcoming. I’ve grown tired of staying in busy hotels, and this was exactly the peaceful, homey experience I was hoping for. Another bonus was the easy walking distance to amazing local restaurants. Even the French Quarter was just a 15-minute ride away, close enough to explore, but far enough to unwind. This trip made me fall in love with NOLA, and this B&B played a big part in that. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone planning a visit!

A quaint old Manor house
Liked: We loved staying at Rose Manor. The owners were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast around the dining table with other guests was lovely. The location was perfect. Public transport was easy to use from Rose Manor. There were also restaurants along the street and a supermarket.

A lovely and welcoming stay...
Liked: It was very quirky and welcoming. It was very homely and the bedrooms were super clean.
Disliked: The location was okay, but as we stayed during a festival, the Ubers into town were about $30 each way so maybe something to consider if you’re going over the weekend (or a busy time), the cost will definitely rack up!
