Rose Garden Inn

There were no rooms available when we got there at almost 3:30. Desk clerk told me it would be an hour before any were available. Didn't like the delay - was not unable to relax a little before going to show that we drove over 2 hours for.

Liked: Room was very spacious.
Disliked: Dirty rug on all the walkways; bathroom floor needed to be mopped; not enough towels - no small towels whatsoever! Didn't notice an ice machine - thank goodness we didn't need ice.

I think the staff at the hotel needs some training on basic social skills. They are lucky I did not get pissed when he walked in.

Liked: Very close to fun little coffee houses, and near Fairgrounds.
Disliked: The Hotel Office Manager walked into my room while I was undressing - he knocked and then used his key to open the door before I even had a chance to answer him. He then asked if I was going to pay for another night. I told him yes, I booked the hotel for 3 days, what is wrong with you? There is very little parking and the spaces are small.

Hard bed

Liked: It was clean and spacious. Easy and close parking.
Disliked: The mattress was horrible. Extremely hard bed. I woke up in the middle of the night with back pain. I had to take Ibuprofen in the morning because my body hurt so bad. Even my 9 year old mentioned "the bed was uncomfortable" luckily we only stayed one night. Unless they change their mattresses, I dont think I'd be back.
