There were no rooms available when we got there at almost 3:30. Desk clerk told me it would be an hour before any were available. Didn't like the delay - was not unable to relax a little before going to show that we drove over 2 hours for.

Liked: Room was very spacious.
Disliked: Dirty rug on all the walkways; bathroom floor needed to be mopped; not enough towels - no small towels whatsoever! Didn't notice an ice machine - thank goodness we didn't need ice.

I think the staff at the hotel needs some training on basic social skills. They are lucky I did not get pissed when he walked in.

Liked: Very close to fun little coffee houses, and near Fairgrounds.
Disliked: The Hotel Office Manager walked into my room while I was undressing - he knocked and then used his key to open the door before I even had a chance to answer him. He then asked if I was going to pay for another night. I told him yes, I booked the hotel for 3 days, what is wrong with you? There is very little parking and the spaces are small.

Very poor

Liked: Just the location to find the motel.
Disliked: There were a lot of things which were a problem in this stay. No hygiene, no hot water in the freezing temperature. And plus no quick solutions.

The hotel was ok but...

Liked: The room was nice, the outside was kind of neglected
Disliked: The outside looked old and not in good condition

I want to come back...

Liked: the location, but the best part is the people there, Kathy and her mom are so friendly, warm and generous, making me feel at home.
Disliked: a little expensive for the level of facility but understandable because of the busy season for tourists in Santa Barbara.

Liked: Nice hotel, quiet surroundings, it was clean, helpful staff
Disliked: Not easy to park if you have a big car when its full (small parking spaces)

Liked: Very nice staff, great location. Rooms are big enough, on the surface rooms looked clean.
Disliked: Very shabby on the exterior. Needs to be powerwashed and cleaned up around the grounds.Unfortunately, my room had Bed Bugs! I had never experienced this, and I was horrified.Room 216. Staff was attentive, but I had to vacate the premises and get a refund.

Disliked: The hair dryer did not work and we had to go to the office and borrow another one. Very small room #109.
