It was a joy to stay in this home-from-home hotel and I would definitely go back there!

Liked: The room was great!
Disliked: Shower a bit lukewarm and noisy air conditioning.

Exceptional

Liked: Perfect for overnight or a couple of nights before or after a cruise. Full bar with food a definite plus.
Disliked: The pillows were a little too firm for me but no big deal.

Comfortable inside and out, and...

Liked: The hotel is relaxed, comfortable, and well placed between Southampton Central and the cruise terminals. It is particularly close to Southampton's Ocean Terminal, which was our primary reason for choosing room2. While the bar/dining area appeared to undergoing a change of layout/management, this is temporary, and the staff were great.
Disliked: Not much.

Just a one night stopover...

Liked: Close to the ferry. Good parking nearby. Very nice well equipped room. Very friendly helpful staff. Very nice park just across the road.
Disliked: The lift was broken

Very good

Liked: Room was a decent size. A/C worked great. Breakfast was a good selection. I would stay there again. It was a nice location. I would just not order anything extra at breakfast.
Disliked: 1 elevator was out of service the whole time we were there. They were also servicing the other elevator during our stay. There was a sign saying only 2 people at a time so there was a long wait at times. I ordered breakfast and the fella asked if I wanted anything else so I asked for bacon. When we checked out, we were told we owed 20 pounds for the bacon. We paid cash for that. Our credit card was also charged even though we paid cash.

Not going to stay in...

Liked: The location
Disliked: The windows could not be closed .I could hear all the noise from outside .We asked to check the safety box but nobody came until we checked out.Also we didn’t have cold water in the shower and we asked to be checked also no body came to check until we checked out.
