Liked: Smooth check in/out, good location, clean and comfortable, good air con, sweets in a rose shape was a nice touch on St Jordi's day
Disliked: Our room was next door to a building site, so hammering and drilling all day. Reconsider if you need to work during the day. The works were in the building adjacent and in the courtyard out the back. We asked to be moved, and thankfully were given a new room away from the adjacent building, but could still hear the works in the back courtyard - were told Barcelona is a noisy city. Staff did not help move bags across rooms so my partner had to struggle moving 2 peoples luggage across the hotel herself. They have an honesty bar with a beer tap that doesn't work. When the kettle in the room boils it sends most of the contents shooting out of the spout and onto the floor. No coffee machine in the room, instant coffee instead. Expensive. They have this life-sized statue of a screaming hippie in the lobby which just makes you feel uneasy lol

Liked: # Review of My Stay in BarcelonaI just returned from a three-night stay at a hotel in Barcelona, and I am incredibly grateful that my first visit to Barcelona was made so comfortable by this wonderful hotel that was high-quality, clean, and stylish. The location is simply top-notch - couldn't have found a better place.The room was gorgeous with impeccable cleanliness - thank you to the housekeeping staff for this! The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was my favorite part with its black tiles and gold shower and sink fixtures that were absolutely magnificent. The music playing from speakers built into the walls was a genius touch. This was especially nice as I was traveling alone. When I first entered my room, stylish music was playing from the hotel's playlist, which made me very happy and immediately feel less lonely.The room had absolutely everything I needed, including an ironing board and iron. In the bathroom, there was a very pleasant and fragrant line of toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion. I constantly found myself going back to the bathroom just to apply more of the body lotion!The reception team was excellent. I was greeted by Sagar, who already knew my name when I arrived, which was very pleasant. He treated me to champagne and didn't overwhelm me with too much information. He checked me in quickly and sent me directly to my room, seeing that I was very tired. Sagar also recommended a fantastic coffee shop that I visited multiple times during my three-day stay and absolutely fell in love with. It became one of my favorite places in Barcelona. Thank you, Sagar!The lovely staff member, Sunita, helped me navigate the city multiple times by explaining about buses and the metro, and showed me how to get to the airport. The receptionist Alejandro was very helpful, always smiling and friendly, and patiently answered my endless questions.
