Exceptional

Liked: The staffs were very friendly, room was clean, everything was functional. Breakfast was wonderful. Nice location, walkable to city center and shore.

Beautiful old hotel

Liked: An old herrgård, nicely kept, it feels like spending a night in a museum. The gardens are beautiful and give the hotel a calm and relaxing vibe, despite nearby road and industry. The little spa is a nice touch and quite new, plus we had a private sauna in our room. Breakfast was nice, too.
Disliked: The beds were far too soft. That needs to be changed. There were very loud guests smoking and drinking in front of the main building, until midnight, when finally the manager told them to go to a different spot, because several guests had complained. I would have appreciated it, if they had done something about the noise a little bit faster.

Would not return and not...

Liked: The location was nice
Disliked: The restaurant is closed on a Sunday and we were not advised and there was a rude woman around for 20 mins who we discovered later was the Manager! The place was very busy with one young girl left to deal with everything on her own! Check ins/food (available 2 cold meals in foyer)drinks and helping guests with information! It was disgraceful although she deserves 5 stars as she was so polite and courteous
