Liked: Great location, reasonable price, great aesthetic and vibe to the hotel
Disliked: The pillows were really big/ high/ ridged- couldn’t sleep comfortably. Moreover, in our 5 nights our room was not tended to once.

Comfortable

Liked: Nicely decorated and comfortable rooms. Staff were very friendly. I loved that they had an alliance with one of the beach front rentals so you could choose 3 items for the beach during your stay.
Disliked: Location is situated off a very busy road. We didn’t enjoy sitting on the balcony due to the noise from cars and loud AC units from the building next door. We

Below expectations.

Liked: The location was suitable for public transport, tours, Uber, walks to the beach and restaurants.
Disliked: Upon check in we were informed the hotel would be holding an additional $100 per day for our stay as a security deposit, I reviewed my booking information and no where does it state this. This was an additional $800 that was not budgeted for on this trip. We are fortunate enough that we had that money spare however there were many others before and after us that complained about not knowing this.We were booked for a total of 8 nights, during those 8 nights our room was not scheduled for house keeping once. We checked in on a Sunday and by Thursday still nothing. On Thursday we attempted to go downstairs and speak to someone at the desk however every time there is a long queue of guests checking in raising similar concerns to us as when we checked in. I finally got through over the phone and was told that they couldn’t tell me when our room was scheduled to be cleaned however will send up fresh towels. On the Friday after being out for the day our room was still not cleaned. I called the front desk 8 times with not one answer. I heard housekeeping on our floor, spoke to someone who appeared to be the trainer or manager and she said our room is not scheduled at all and doesn’t know why, she had an extra staff member that did a quick tidy. We checked out on the Monday and did not receive a full housekeeping service once.The hallways of the hotel are never clean, main service area is lovely and is presented well however our level always had rubbish along it.During our stay as well, the TV wasn’t working, we had to call service 4 times to come fix it and each time the handy man said this does happen, I eventually watched him so on each night I was able to fix the tv myself. It’s nice to be able to watch tv and relax after a long day however this was not possible each night.Every time we used the pool the bar person would always say the towels are in the laundry, lack of housekeeping arranged for our room meant we didn’t have endless towels, we had our own.

Liked: Staff were super nice and the room was spacious and clean! Balcony was wonderful and the mountain view was great. The water refill station downstairs was super clutch. Overall a really nice environment. Bed was comfy!
Disliked: Walls are very thin :( Maybe because I was placed in a room that’s normally a part of a suite, so I could hear all the conversations from the room next door to me. While having a balcony was wonderful, it also faced directly to the building next door so there was little privacy (I had to close all the blinds to change, even though I was on the top floor of my building). Location could also be better - it’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach, and about a 30 min walk to the gear rental shop that the hotel partners with. Not bad but just something to consider.

Liked: Everything was perfect. Clean, quiet, safe room/hotel to stay. Pool was perfect as was the gym. Favorite Son had great selection of beverages and the area was clean and ambient.
Disliked: Having to leave to come home :(

Fantastic property in a superb...

Liked: This property looks exactly as pictured online. This was my first time traveling to Hawaii, and the staff made sure that my time was excellent. The staff was helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about the attractions and landmarks in the city. The rooms were very spacious and clean! I loved this hotel so much!
Disliked: N/A everything was WONDERFUL! We will definitely be returning!
