Romana Hotel - Houston Southwest

I can not recommend this hotel - the day time staff was rude at best and the room was FILTHY - too bad I can't post pics here... Unfortunately we didn't have time to find another location (we were on a tight schedule to get to our event.) The ONLY reason we stayed was because it was VERY close to The Arena Theater - but there ARE other options - you just need to look.

Disliked: Dirty hallways, no Ac in common areas.I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was rude, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional. They acted like they were doing me a favor just by checking me in. No greeting, no eye contact, and when I asked a simple question, I was met with attitude and rolled eyes.There was no sense of hospitality—just frustration and cold service. It felt like they didn’t want guests at all. This kind of treatment made the entire stay uncomfortable and stressful. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless the management makes serious changes to the front desk staff. A motel should be welcoming, not hostil

It was a short needed...

Liked: I didn't know you served breakfast, the staff didn't say anything about and it wasn't noticed on booking.com either, not even on my recipes
Disliked: It's old, dingy, gloomy room and bed smells weird. None my bed side lamps worked there were no desk lamps only the bathroom lights work. All the paint everywhere were peeling, missing, chipping and dull/miss matching.

Horrible wish I could get...
