Promises a lot but just...

Liked: Breakfast was great and it’s exactly where I need it when meeting a client. All the staff are friendly and the grounds are small but nice to wander around.
Disliked: The interior of the hotel looks very tired. I couldn’t access my room due to a faulty key fob so was upgraded to a suite in the car park. This would have been great, but the water was freezing so the upgrade wasn’t that really. I also thought the suites, while nice inside, are not well thought out. I was facing the kitchen with the constant whirring of a fan and the smell from it. The suites are in the loading area for the kitchen, so not a stunning location. Had I parked in the suite car park I would be have been hemmed in by a delivery truck. I realise this doesn’t affect guests all the time, but if I had been parked there I would have been late for a meeting. It just doesn’t have the right feel. The suites should have a superior feel, but you feel that you’re stuck out in a loading bay for the kitchen.
