Liked: The hotel staff were very welcoming and the meal we had in the Jacobean pub/ restaurant was excellent and the breakfast the following morning was to die for.
Disliked: The room when I retired for the night was impeccably presented My only gripe of the stay was that there must have been a water header tank above my room ( 8) I think, and unfortunately the infill ballcock wasn’t working and resulted in a drip drip drip drip

Disliked: The evening meal wasn't as good as when we stayed before which is a shame as previously it was good

Liked: Bedding was clean Staff friendly
Disliked: The dining room was dire in decor and atmosphere. So we dined outside the hotel .Room blinds didn’t work well and had been tied up.Decor grey and dull.Light fittings didn’t match the “ Jacobean” theme that the hotel pushed.They were “ industrial” styling so essentially made out of wire and were therefore very bright .
