Liked: Stunning building and grounds, well maintained..The room was large and well set out..
Disliked: Minor point….Couldn’t find a socket to plug the kettle , had to put the kettle on the floor.

Liked: We visited DIY kitchens from Kent, this hotel was perfect. The food in the restaurant is excellent! Do book a table.
Disliked: Having to walk through a wedding to the room was strange. When we booked it would have been great to know that a private event was being held.

Liked: We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, both were exceptional with very good choice. Our room was very comfortable and spacious.

Liked: Breakfast was very good with a wide selection to choose from.The night before, we didn't want a big meal so shared an excellent pizza. The bar snacks are a good alternative to a big meal.Our bedroom was very comfortable and quiet. Clean countryside air was free.

Very good

Liked: We loved sitting on the patio, outside the conservatory, with our pre-dinner drinks, looking out over the garden, which was beautiful. The meals we ate during our visit (breakfast and dinner) were very nice (the servings were very generous).All the staff were very welcoming, helpful, and friendly throughout our stay.
Disliked: Our only complaint would be the air conditioning unit in our room was very noisy - so we had to switched it off despite the hot weather.
