Liked: The staff was very friendly.The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were definitely the cleanest part of the room.Good amount and quality of toiletries.
Disliked: We've never stayed in a hotel in the UK before so I have my basis for comparison only from other countries.The breakfast was okay, the freshly made part was nice, but the variety was a bit poor.The room was also okay, bit old and poor quality for my experience, and there was this old smell.

Liked: Staff were lovely and attentive.The Indian meal was good.
Disliked: The room was a bit 'tired'Duvet was too thick for summer.The shower did not work at all. I had to use a mug and mix hot and cold water. Most disappointing

Disliked: Location isn't ideal. The onsite Indian restaurant was closed on Sunday, and there are few other eating options in walking distance. The Toby Carvery refused to take a walk-in without an online reservation so we had to get a taxi to Knebworth, where we ate at Raja - an Indian restaurant that I can recommend.Limited options for charging an electric car in the vicinity - I used the chargers in the Tesco car park,
