Disliked: TOILET WOULD NOT FLUSHCOULDN'T MAKE SHOWER WORKDECOR REALLY DATEDCONTINENTAL BREAKFAST POOROUTSIDE ACCOMADATION NOT LOOKED AFTERDINNER WAS NOT PRESENTED WELL£4.45 FOR A WARM BOTTLE OF WATER

Useful stay and on main...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent thank you, we like smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast and they happily provided that plus the addition of some mushrooms and tomatoes that we enjoy with it all together on toast too thank you.
Disliked: Evening meal choices were a bit limited and the WiFi was unfortunately almost useless, WiFi so slow that I could not launch my Maps on my mobile phone vie their WiFi to plan the trip home, I had to drive away to find 4G and use that instead. We also could NOT send or receive messages while in our room, the WiFi was just too slow, not what we expect in 2025. I complained at the reception desk about the slow WiFi and while I was then at reception, 3 other guests also complained about the very slow WiFi too.

A night in Sussex

Liked: The staff were great. Friendly and helpful. Dinner was good. Wide choice, reasonable price. Lots on offer at breakfast. The room was clean and tidy.
Disliked: The decor of the whole hotel is looking tired. The carpet in our room had seen better days. The window needed significant repair and painting. So, Greene King spend some money on the building and get it to the same quality as your staff.

Liked: This is a popular pub with good food and wine and has comfortable rooms. It's just off the A road but still pretty quiet.
Disliked: Nothing really.
