Lovely property with a nice...

Disliked: The restaurant was only open for breakfast so dinner was only at the fancier one. We were hoping for more casual for dinner one night.

Great Location

Liked: Lovely location and staff are very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: With all the renovation going on there really wouldn't be much for my 10 year old grandson apart from the pool. He's too old for the games zone and too big for the wooden climbing frames. The rooms could do with being redecorated as they're a bit worn looking. Also the increase in prices at the bar was very noticeable.

Liked: Room was v comfortable although we had to move rooms twice due to problems Breakfast was v nice and food good but limited variety Staff in Coach House were slow and not as interested in customer satisfaction you expect from four star resorts

Decent stay with decent food,...

Liked: Setting, beautiful grounds, breakfast and dinner were really good.
Disliked: The trek to the leisure facilities, these aren’t very well sign posted and not entirely connected to the hotel. The pool area is very dated, noisy and not overly clean. Would be nice to have adult only areas which are a little quieter and more relaxing.

Overall, a great overnight stay...

Liked: Great activities for families with younger children. Stayed with my 10 year old son and he loved the mini jeeps, bungee trampoline and jet ski. Play park is in an enclosed space where you can keep a close eye on your LO's from the comfort of the lounge area. The Little Boar's menu at Fratelli's where kids get to make their own pizza was a bit hit with my son too. Hotel/restaurant staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful - special mention to the lovely staff who were overseeing the kids activities on 6th July 2025. Overall, a great overnight hotel stay for families and will definitely be back again.
Disliked: I would have preferred to have seen safety helmets provided for the kids on the mini jeeps. A mini fridge in the room would have been a bonus too!
