Rodeway Inn

I selected this hotel based upon it's most recent rating (7.5 out 10), posted photos, and the fact that I could not find an available hotel room in Turlock - my intended destination. Once I arrived in the neighborhood, it was obvious the hotel was in a sketchy part of town (i.e. meth heads in the parking lot, most rooms were obviously empty on a Saturday night). As it was past 10 pm, when my daughter and I arrived after a long day, we went straight to bed, but I slept with one eye open just in case. The next morning, as I walked toward the ice machine, I looked in the direction of the cesspool, swimming pool, and observed it was green in color. Not capable of hosting a pool party at all - or even dipping one's toe for fear of contracting some sort of bacterial infection for which there is no known cure. Shortly thereafter, my daughter and I checked out rather quickly. Long story short, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, friend or foe.

Liked: Can't think of anything positive to say about this hotel.
Disliked: The neighborhood looked run-down, and there were at least 2 doper type of characters in or about the property.
