Disliked: There wasn’t anything to like, other than it being in Jackson.

I’m glad I elected to...

Liked: The breakfast was delicious. Plenty of food, hot. Could have used more napkins and bigger. By the time I ate, about 8:30, the napkins were almost gone. The night clerk was most helpful. Need more room. The night clerk was most helpful! I got there late, she helped me push the cart to my room and into the elevator. I was having trouble guiding. It. She changed my room so it could be closer to the elevator. And most of all, there were no parking spaces left in the lot. She offered to move her car and let me park in her space. Beyond the call of duty! TV was easy to use. Bathroom was clean. Plenty of towels, etc.
Disliked: see above napkin review covered in review of breakfast. (but no big deal). I did have a little bit of trouble finding the entrance. I managed, when trying to turn around and go back, to find the back entrance (I figured it was the second entrance, so I had to circle the building to find the front door/checkin area. During my trip around the parking lot, I discovered there were no parking places, which worried me a bit, but I was checking in late (8:30 PM). But, as stated above, the night clerk offered to move her car and let me park in her space :)

Disliked: Refrigerator did not work, shower control knob came off in my hand, could not adjust temp. Motel needs complete facelift and room remodel. Staff needs attitude adjustment and personality transplant.

Steer clear!!!

Liked: Not much to like. I can't think of one good thing to say steer clear!
Disliked: First, we were in Jackson to see my boyfriend's mother, who had open heart surgery. The front desk clerk apparently called me at 4:30, mind you check in time is 3. I'm inside the hospital at this time. A. My phone is on silent. B.I don't answer numbers I don't know. Never will. We arrive at the hotel at 5:25 and go inside to check in. I go to the desk tell the clerk we have reservations he tells me oh I tried to call you got no answer so I canceled your reservations. Excuse me? I told him the situation, which frankly is none of his business, and he proceeds to tell me he doesn't have the room we reserved that he can give me another. Ok, whatever, at this point, I'm annoyed. We take the room go in it smells weird. I don't know what they clean with, but no. I start looking around there's trash behind furniture, half the lights work, the toilet doesn't want to flush half the time. There's dirt behind the door in the bathroom, hair left on things, the shower curtain was only cloth and was hanging up by 4 or 5 rings so half the curtain wasn't hanging up. Furniture was broken as well. We couldn't have used the freezer even if we wanted to it was completely frosted closed. Terrible, terrible, terrible. There's trash outside everywhere. Just please take my advice don't waste your time or money. I understand you get what you pay for but I at least expect cleanliness and decent customer service. They also charged a$40 damage deposit. 😆 🤣 for what? I mean really what a joke. No mention of the damage deposit until check in. This place is awful!
