Liked: The location of the hotel is great. Just cross the street to the pier and the beach. The man at the desk was very nice and helpful when we had to check in late. We really enjoyed the short getaway.
Disliked: The shower is small but did the job. The water Temps were great. The bed was comfy but the pillows were not so good. Next time I think I need a bottom floor cause bad ankle and steps are not good.

Getting run down

Liked: I have stayed here more than a dozen times over the years,location is great,it's affordable and it used to be very nice.
Disliked: Seems new management isn't caring like the old,it's not as clean,faucet was beyond loose,water not hot it wasn't cold but all the way to hot to shower.had to unplug microwave to make coffee,unplug coffee to use micro I mean really an adapter is 2 bux.key only worked one nite the next day I had to have it redone.

Liked: The price was good. Good location. Rooms are good size.
Disliked: If you're a local there in Dare county they don't want locals staying there for no reason. So if something happens to your house and needed a place to stay don't go there. I believe it's the same people who own or run the Colonial Inn. By the way if you're a local they don't want locals staying there either. So if you're a local bum rush them till they accept it.

Liked: Overall it's a nice little place to stay at for a couple of days, and in a great location!
Disliked: The shower is a little small
