Not pet friendly and rude!

Disliked: I booked this online saying it was pet friendly. When I arrived that night at 10pm the attendant was very rude. He asked if I had a pet and I replied yes. He said"No pets! You cannot stay here!" I explained that it said pet friendly but kept refusing for us to stay there! We left looking for a room at night on a Saturday!!

Liked: This place satisfied my needs, however added some insult to my existing experience.
Disliked: I was delayed in Houston overnight from midnight until 7 am. No hotel vouchers were offered by United because it was weather related. The location of the hotel was theoretically convenient, however the increased charges from Lyft were quite high for traveling 3 miles from the airport. My expectations were low but the condition of the room was lower. The smell of mildew was overwhelming, there was a rather large, used condom floating in the toilet, and the shower floor was still wet at 1 am. I went downstairs to the first desk and was given a different, cleaner room. I only saw one millipede under my comforter, so I removed the comforter and slept in the center of the bed. I was able to shower and return to the airport a few hours later. So far, I’m okay and don’t see any long term issues with my stay.
