Liked: COCKROACHES in the room, IN THE ROOM WAS VERY BORING but it wasn't dirty it just was very simple and unimpressive, but at least they had that many coffee maker to make hot water that was nice and they did have coffee and tea service that was nice but there is no bottled water anywhere that was horrible and the gift shop downstairs that was supposed to have the mini market selection of food which was well way overpriced all the food in the hotel was overpriced in the including the restaurant which they wouldn't let me bring my carry-on bag with me so they said to leave it at the doorway but I couldn't risk having it stolen they need a special place to put the bags if they're not going to allow the customers to bring bags into the restaurant so that the customers feel their stuff is safe because you can't leave a bag with valuables in a doorway of a restaurant with people coming and going in today's world it's just not safe so that was disingenuous for sure whoever made up that regulation and the price is on the menu were outrageous just not fair and the prices of the mini market food was also outrageous but the wine was fairly pricedWALLS so thin you could hear the neighbors, next door, and they have the beds set up horribly because the neighbors having sex can be heard literally inches from your headboard that was a little distasteful but understandable the people needed to engage in human function I supposeThe breakfast was not bad but the lady supervising it was very extremely pushy and I arrived with about 15 minutes before they were supposed to close and she was having a mild infarction she was more concerned about feeding the staff their free breakfast and getting the hotel guests a breakfast without raising my blood pressure so I ate outside because the outside will allow you they said they could I could sit outside until 10:00 a.m.
Disliked: The shuttle bus operating until 1:00 a.m. was a relief, but it was extremely complicated because they wouldn't pick you up unless you had the reservation confirmed online but the website stop accepting reservations at midnight except for Priceline which was very expensive so I paid about $25 more because I booked it after midnight, but the shuttle service was very good I appreciate that that was definitely excellent! The front desk staff is really good the gentleman from Ukraine was a really nice fantastic staff and the lady at night was pretty nice she did a good job they have a difficult job to do it the front desk all those regulations and those silly covid plastic windows make you feel like you're in a bank or prison it's really depressing and there was a lot of stuff broken throughout the hotel like the waterfet was broken and these older people couldn't sit in the restaurant where they had breakfast because they wouldn't let people sit inside but they had the air conditioning blasting full throttle so that was wasting a lot of energy in these senior citizens were forced to sit outside that was rather just tasteful. The place looked like Sanford and son there is junk all over a lot of clutter it just didn't look very friendly or very modern it's very old and it looked very cheap for $107 I thought that was a rather distasteful experience but at least it was better than the red carpet in next door which looked like a hood rat Hotel so I paid the extra money to stay at roadway because it was nicer and I didn't feel like I was going to get mugged whereas Hood rat hotel next door red carpet in with just horrible it was disgusting no breakfast and they had a food card out there a Mexican food cart which I heard was really good but the closest store was gas station mini market about half a kilometer away but those prices were outrageous also everything the inflation in Florida is just horrible
