One of the best values...

Liked: The prices are great. Good restaurant next door not owned by them. Convenient io get to Miami and f lauderdale airport.
Disliked: Food. It was basically continental. No bar

It is a Choice Privilege...

Liked: The folks at the desk were friendly at check-in but after they had you the nice stopped there. Really the only good part of this property was the free shuttle from the airport and to the cruise port & the sheets were clean.
Disliked: The restaurant bar had a band with a woman that seemed to just yell the lyrics to the covers she performed, and the food was mehh. To add to that, the booze the sell in the lobby has a 4oo% mark-up if not more. Beware about the upsell of a ride from the port to the airport - your cruise line usually offers this, and it was a bear to get the refund. I was actually hung up on 2X during this process. The elevator felt like it might get stuck, so we took the stairs after our first ride. The sad part is that it is a Choice Privilege hotel brand, so I thought it would be a good location - we won't stay here again! I only gave it a 3 because it was a place to rest our head before our cruise but that covered the good part.

Liked: Ride to port for cruise, pick you up at airport, continental breakfast included. Beds comfortable.
Disliked: No stores or restaurants to walk to.

Okay for a short stay

Liked: Breakfast the first day was good: eggs, bagels, muffins, bacon, waffles, yogurt, juice, coffee. The next day it was missing half the menu though. They ask you to bring yr key card or breakfast coupon. I'm glad there was a restaurant attached for lunch/dinner but there was a loud band playing in there at night. The shuttle from FLL was good, but took a little while.
Disliked: There was only a sheet on the bed, no comforter. The AC unit on the floor was loud & kept turning off. There was a roach in my room when I entered. The floors made my feet dirty. The smoke alarm in my room started beeping by itself in the middle of the night, someone came in the morning to try to fix it, but they could not figure it out, it kept beeping, so they took it off. I was checking out anyway. The fridge was so cold it froze my mild.

The location is great especially...

Liked: The location and the cute garden. I also enjoy dining at Marina 84.
Disliked: The pool was dirty (feathers and bugs). The pool guy came and only cleaned one side of the pool. Myself and another guest ended up trying to clean the shallow side. It didn’t work cause the filter system wasn’t working properly.The a/c was making a sound like chain on a bike or a card in the spokes of a bike tire. On top of that they were doing construction early in the morning right by my room.
