Red Wing Minnesota has several nice motels. This is not one of them. The management did not shovel or sweep the fresh snow off the sidewalks. There is a law suit just waiting to happen.

Liked: The worst motel experience in my 70 years.
Disliked: First, there was no heat in our room (it's December). I was able to get the heat to come on, then it wouldn't shut off all night. Paint, plaster, and wall paper was all falling down. Continental breakfast was a joke. This place is a dump. Stay anywhere else.

Liked: Location. Staff was really nice. Bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: Could use some maintenance. Toilet didn’t flush right. Shower hard to turn on because of hard water buildup.

Liked: Price was decent for the type of stay it is. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Location was okay.
Disliked: The pillows are terrible, either too hard or too flat. Not comfortable at all.

Liked: Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean.
Disliked: I had issues with my room key. The door wouldn't open when I was bringing my belongings into the room. When I was getting ready to leave, I took some of my things to my vehicle, and when I tried to get back into my room, key cards would not work. After telling the desk clerk that I needed to get into the room for my remaining items. Check out time wasn't until 11:00 am and I was leaving just after 9:00 am, no reason for the key cards to be canceled.
