The booking, payment and check-in were a cinch! That's the only positive thing about this hotel. The room was tiny and filthy. First, we found the shelves in the fridge hadn't been cleaned and had food on them. Upon further investigation, we found a small amount of blood on the outside of the shower, with dirt and dust in the dresser drawers. The most disgusting part was the "bodily fluid" on the mirror that had dripped down and dried. Besides the DNA left behind, the mirror also appeared to have gone uncleaned for quite some time. There were only 2 lumpy pillows and the bed spread, no blanket. We weren't about to sleep under the bed spread for fear it too was possibly covered in bodily fluids. So we kicked on the heater which only blew warm air up into the curtains. The only way to warm up the room was to leave the curtains open leaving us NO privacy. Had we any other option we would have left but unfortunately it was 1am when we got to our room and found how filthy it was. This birthday adventure turned out to be a disaster!

Liked: I had my own carport, however only a few rooms do. Well-maintained grounds with trees, bushes, and lots of flowers. Nice towels. Great location for access to the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds, less than a mile away.
Disliked: It's not that I didn't like it, but this is a very old property. No vent cover for the fan in the bathroom.
