Very good

We were not satisfied with...

Liked: Convenient location
Disliked: First, there is No elevator to the 5th floor executive suite, so we have to carry 2 luggages weighted around 23kg each from the 4th floor to the 5th floor through a very narrow staircase. Second, there is Strong Smell in room and hallway, my husband and mom both immediately felt very discomfortable. Third, the room including furniture is not as the photo shown on booking’s website. Fourth , very old furniture and simple furnishings, why it was called executive suite?

Stored Hôtel full of bus...

Liked: The cleaning staff were lovely. Sadly the abuse they had to take off a very rude American guest was shocking. All they wanted to do was clean her room! Top tip if you don’t want people cleaning your room put the “Do not disturb” sign on your door!
Disliked: The showers did the work. The bedding has an awful smell. The room looked really tired. The light that came in under the door from the hallway was bright when all the lights were switched off. So if light can get through smoke would if there was a fire!

A bit outdated, byt great...

Liked: Great location in a building with character. Staff was super nice and helpful.
Disliked: Rooms look a bit outdated with older carpet. The bathroom was tiny with essentially no counter space. Older HVAC meant we couldn’t control temperature in the room like we wanted so it felt cold.

Day trip to Prince Edward...

Liked: Lovely, stately hotel in downtown Charlottetown. We really enjoyed our stay. Facility had lots of character, was in a great location with very friendly, helpful staff. Way more fun than modern roadway motel. Highly recommend!
Disliked: Wish we could have stayed longer!

Comfortable stay in a charming...

Liked: Comfortable, historic hotel. Location is good, 10 minute walk to restaurants and main strip. 15 minutes to the waterfront. Hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable.
Disliked: Room only had one chair to sit in if not in bed and large writing desk that wasn’t useful and took up space. Water pressure was low so not great shower experience. No hot tub in pool area which would have been nice for golfers.
