Very disappointing.

Liked: Location was good for my purposes this trip.
Disliked: Receptionist (male) was rude. He took a photocopy of our driver's licenses, stating it was "policy". I asked about why they needed a photocopy of our licenses, how they assured the security of our personal data, how long they kept it, and expressed concern about the possibility of identity fraud. The receptionist could not answer my questions, just repeating it was policy and told me I could choose not to stay. I felt I had no options (as I had my 91-year-old father-in-law with me) and elected to stay. We were 10 minutes early and although we had rung ahead to check if I could arrive early and was told it was not a problem, the receptionist then told me I would have to leave and come back after 2pm. I challenged this. Told the receptionist he was being rude and petty. He made a phone call and then informed us the rooms were in fact ready. Of course I was then quite irritated. Fortunately my father in law's room was reportedly fine. My room (my partner was joining me a little later) however was not fine. The bins had not been emptied (they were full), there was no bar soap, the toilet had specs of faeces on the rim and the bed was uncomfortable. I noted a thick foam topper on the mattress. It would seem the mattress underneath had seen the end of its days and the topper only created a bed more like a sinking hammock. Lastly the room was cramped, nothing like the photos on the web site. I will never return to this place again.
