Exceptional

Liked: Beautiful property, the bed was very comfortable…slept so well. Nice and quiet. It was with walking distance of some awesome seafood at the Waterworks Restaurant.
Disliked: nothing

Very good

Liked: Beautiful antique B&B.
Disliked: It was disappointing that we didn’t get to meet the proprietors. I am not a fan of the self-check-in model for a B&B’s.

Comfortable, easy access to the...

Liked: The breakfast was fine! I loved the late afternoon snack, the mixed berry pie.
Disliked: The hot water in the bath took a long time to rise to temperature when I took a shower.

It was wonderful and we’d...

Liked: Nice location, friendly staff, quiet, loved the old home atmosphere.
Disliked: The continental breakfast was nice, but for the price we had hoped for a little more.

Everything was great except the...

Liked: Breakfast was fine - everything we needed except the human element of a person fussing in the kitchen or serving the breakfast. When you take your own yougart out of the refridgerator, you may as well be staying at a motel with a breakfast lounge.
Disliked: Really missed the human element - expected to meet the innkeepers as that is always part of our interest in staying at an inn.

Very disappointing

Liked: Good location, downtown Rockland.
Disliked: There is no one to check you in, or check you out. You get your own breakfast and it was a blueberry muffin, coffee is from a machine. Not the kind of service you expect from a B&B. Really poor breakfast and `I did not meet anyone working at the inn. The Inn next door was much nicer.

The inn was very nice...

Liked: The building is beautiful. Late 18th century, I would guess. It must have been an impressive and stately home back in the day. Today it is comfortable ornate and wonderfully maintained inn. As for the staff, I only met Mary, who was helpful and gracious and just a darling - if that’s politically correct to say anymore. The room was quiet, the bed was great, and I loved the dual showerhead in the bath.
Disliked: Non dairy creamer instead of the real thing, if you want to nitpick
