Rochestown Park Hotel

Family break.

Liked: Lovely clean hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool/dressing rooms are very clean. Ate in the restaurant and the fish & chips were delicious. My partner had Thai red curry that lacked a kick in fairness. Kids ate the pepperoni pizza and it was also delicious
Disliked: Breakfast was table service which is fine. Full Irish arrived with beans poured all over half the plate. Very messy. Also the toast was burnt on one side. Really annoying. We stayed as part of a trip to Fota so the pool was key. At 12.15pm we were told the kids had to leave. Very strange but the staff were pleasant in fairness

Liked: The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The facilities in the hotel are very good
Disliked: Breakfast service was pretty slow. I would have rather a buffet that you can usually have pretty fast.

Liked: Nice hotel on the outskirts of town. The hotel is more geared to a convention or event stay.
Disliked: Over-priced for what you get. Also, the bar and restaurant are expensive for the quality of food and drink.

Liked: Food was great, plenty of options for adults and children.

Liked: We had a very positive enjoyable experience staying with you great facilities and an extra bed also . All the staff were so kind and helpful.
Disliked: Possibly been close to the road but not bad really we had great views

Disliked: Asked numerous times for the under floor heating to be turned off as it actually was too warm to walk on bottled water was never replaced lights in bathroom need to be changed as the shower was very dark and the shower was like being washed by a power hose breakfast menu needs to be changed asked for poached eggs and was told we only do what's on the menu along with pancakes yet another guest asked for pancakes and got them for the money we paid to stay it was very disappointing

Lovely stay apart from the...

Liked: Staff are all very friendly. Beds comfortable and food very taste. Lovely area and very easy access to Cork city.
Disliked: Unfortunately the shower in the room was unsatisfactory. It was not very warm, there was mold around the some of the seals and tiles. Lastly you couldn’t move down the shower head and you had to squeeze against the far wall to shower.

Nice location & staff.

Liked: Pool for kids to play in. Good breakfast.
Disliked: The pool water wasn't exactly clean, tiles falling off from the floor and walls and jacuzzi smelled a bit funky.
