The Spotlight on Robin Hood Motel

Retro Comfort Just Minutes from Saratoga’s Biggest Shows

Robin Hood Motel is a charming, no-frills spot located in scenic Saratoga Springs, just a short drive from major concert venues and attractions. With a laid-back vibe, outdoor picnic areas, and essential in-room amenities like a microwave and fridge, this motel offers a simple, budget-friendly base for music fans on the go. Free WiFi and parking add to the convenience, while local activities like horseback riding and golfing give you more reasons to stick around.

Why Concert-goers love it

You’re just about 3 miles from the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and Saratoga Spa State Park — close enough to get there in under 10 minutes, but far enough to enjoy a quiet night’s sleep after the show. The motel’s peaceful setting means less post-show noise, and the free parking makes it easy to come and go, even late at night. While check-in starts at 3 PM, early birds will appreciate the easy access off Route 50.

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends road-tripping together and looking to save on lodging
Solo travelers catching a bucket-list band and wanting a peaceful rest
Couples wanting a low-key weekend with easy venue access
Fans needing a calm post-concert spot to recover
Budget-conscious music lovers who want value without sacrificing location

Food and Drink Options

While the motel doesn’t offer on-site dining, rooms come with a microwave and mini-fridge, perfect for post-show snacks. The nearby Milton Center Plaza (1.2 miles away) offers quick bites and convenience stores, and Saratoga Springs’ vibrant downtown is just a short drive for late dinners and next-day brunches.

Nightlife Options

Though the motel itself is all about peace and quiet, you’re a short drive from Saratoga Springs’ bars, lounges, and live music joints. Whether you’re in the mood for craft beer, cocktails, or an acoustic set, the local scene won’t disappoint after the main show.

What People Say

Reviewers love the clean rooms, friendly staff, and great location near Saratoga’s main attractions. Many mention it’s a solid pick for a quick, affordable stay, especially when concerts are in town. The picnic area and gazebo also get praise for being a nice touch for groups.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that the motel is a bit dated and could use some cosmetic updates. The 10 AM checkout time might feel early after a late night, so plan accordingly. Also, don’t expect luxury — this spot is all about basics done right.

The Bottom Line

If you’re heading to a concert in Saratoga Springs and want a quiet, affordable place to crash that’s close to the action, Robin Hood Motel hits the right notes.

Don’t stay there if you...

Liked: The price the hotel offers on Booking.com looks only good until you pay (there’s no cancellation). After you pay and the confirmation comes, it says: some charges will be collected by the property: service charge US$10 per person per night. False advertisement.
Disliked: The room was small for the king bed room. Furniture, linens, comforter old and very used. One sheet was different colour. Bathroom very dirty and moldy small shower. Towels looked like rags. Very disgusting. Very disappointed.
