Liked: Beautiful comfortable accommodations in walking distance to so many attractions & restaurants

Very good

Liked: The location was perfect, close to everything. They room itself was large, clean and mine came with a large bathtub. I didn't meet any staff everything was done via email/text. Loved that it had a mini fridge, toaster, coffee machine and toaster in room.
Disliked: The rooms are all connected to a small room in the middle of the house that has refreshments, blankets, etc. and you can hear when they open their doors to enter this area as well as the person once they are in the room.

Disliked: The 10am check out time was ridiculous, every other time I stayed here it was 11 am, even on the door it said 11:00am then I get a knock on the door at 10am absolutely inappropriate!

Home from home!

Liked: The whole experience was exceptional. Cindy sent us messages beforehand providing us with all the information we required. Johnny greeted us when we arrived. The room felt more like a home and the bed was super comfy. The location is minutes away from downtown with the Parliament buildings, BC museum and the harbour all on your doorstep. If you are looking for something more than a bog standard hotel Robert Porter House Inn is the place for you.

We had a really lovely...

Liked: This was a lovely surprise, we booked last minute and loved the themed apartments and the special touches around the place. We stayed in the Van Gough flat, enjoyed reading the book on his life supplied and the prints on the wall. The shower curtain was also in the theme of Van Gough! We had everything we needed, would have loved to stay longer. We'll definitely be back again!
Disliked: Suitcases and steps - not ideal, although I don't know how that could be addresses..

Liked: Very charming room with plenty of space. Easy to find, enter and check out. Great neighborhood. Well maintained. Nearby restaurants and attractions. Would enjoy returning.
Disliked: Amenities listed parking but did not disclose that it was not free. Please consider putting a dollar sign next to the parking symbol or item in the list.

Liked: The location, the room, and its features.
Disliked: Room not wheelchair accessible. But it was more if my parents wanted to stay in Victoria.
