Liked: We were looking for something that would get us close to Tampa the day before our cruise was scheduled to sail. This great little hotel popped up in the list and it seemed to fit the bill for our needs. We booked five rooms and we were very pleased with the entire experience. Very clean. Very comfortable. The staff was GREAT. Breakfast was good. I broke my suitcase and ended up driving right across the street to Ollie's and picked up a new one pretty cheap. Our group had dinner at Golden Corral which was less than 5 minutes away. We came back and enjoyed some pool time and sat for a while in the lovely little courtyard. The only negative is there is no elevator to the second floor. Overall, this was an awesome experience.

Liked: Staff very polite and attentive to our needs.
Disliked: The hotel is currently under renovations. Our first night we were in one of the older rooms that had a noisy a/c and a refrigerator that had not been defrosted causing it to completely ice and was unusable. We complained at the front desk the first morning, and we were relocated to a different room on the ground level which had been renovated. Much nicer and looked clean as well as up to date. Staff solved our problem and we were quite pleased with their actions.
