Riviera South Beach Hotel

Liked: Great hotel; great price for the area. Great suites! The four of us were very comfortable in the two room suite. Walking distance to everything.
Disliked: Nothing negative to say, really.

Very good

Liked: This is my go to spot in Miami it is far away enough but close enough to walk to everything. It has two pools that are relaxing. It is clean and has what you need and cannot beat the price.

Disliked: Staff was rude when it came to cleaning the room and extra amenities for the days stayed at the hotel. Had to also in the lobby after being approved to check in early

Liked: Great location, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, quiet away from noisy areas but close enough to walk to everything
Disliked: Bar very expensive and limited (free cocktail at happy hour good though)

Liked: Staff was swift, knowledgable and friendly. AC works incredibly well. Bed was super comfy. The lobby & room had a lot of charm. 10/10 Would stay here again.

Disappointing hotel due to noise.....

Liked: The room was very clean and the staff friendly esp the cleaning staff.
Disliked: This is not the place to stay if you want to sleep. I booked and paid for 13 nights - as I was going to a conference and having some time prior for myself. The noise every night is loud from the bar downstairs with the sound travelling up. Some nights it stops after 11pm but then people are still noisey, other nights after midnight. In building 3 - people talk in the central core area and you cant get any sleep as the sound travels. I tried for 5 nights with earplugs in and every night sleep was way after midnight. I asked twice to be moved and nothing happened. On day 6 I had to move to another hotel and pay for 8 nights there - whilst not staying at the Riveria Suites. I had a full on conference to attend and knew I couldnt last on 5-6 hours sleep per night - because of hotel noise. Sadly, no one has replied to any emails or messages - nothing acknowledging my frustration - I had flown all the way from NZ - I travel a lot for fun and conferences and this was just not good. I look forward to management contacting me and reimbursing me 8 nights accomodation...

Liked: The breakfast consisted of a voucher for a restaurant that was 10 mins walk away. The food was cold and very poor. Served on paper plates with plastic cutlery. I complained but hotel management were not interested and did not solve the issue
Disliked: Breakfast arrangements were fisgusting and the lift didn’t work for over a week
