Liked: Location and very clean room Ac unit works very well on a very hot day in Texas.Close to several restaurant and gas station.Plenty of parking for a full size truck with a boat.

Awful accomodations, unavailable amenitites, good...

Liked: The advertisement did not mention anything about the amenities being out. The pool was inoperable, which was one of the reasons we chose to stay there. Of course, we were not informed until after we had paid and it was too hot to argue. The magnetic keypad did not work and had to call the front office to fix it. They were not able to and when we went to dinner, we had to tell them to come and open the door as it was never fixed. We were limited in where we could go because we could not return without letting staff know we needed entry into our room. When we first arrived, there were about four cats outside our room and as the evening progressed, a clouder of over 31 cats was in the front porch area. The refrigerator had large rust stains on the front as well as the metal objects in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. It is clearly an overnight hotel in the middle of a barren area that provides limited creature comforts.
Disliked: I believe that the weather was 116 degrees that day and the reason we had chosen the area was for the price as well as a pool so my wife and I could get away for the day and enjoy the pool. I believe that the owner was there and was not bothered with the cats but I had a problem that every time I stepped into the room, the larger cats wanted to come in.
