Riviera Hotel

Although there was building work going on which we had been informed about, we had a very nice stay with a lovely breakfast. Will definitely go back.

Liked: Staff were lovely; room clean and warm and cosy. Swimming pool and jacuzzi very clean and open early in morning right through till 9p.m.
Disliked: None.

Poor

Liked: Male duty manager (Terry) seemed nice and friendly
Disliked: Smelly in areas, damp everywhere, paid £90 for an upgrade to a refurbished room which was standard and I imagine the normal rooms are damp and smelly too. Having to pay for parking seemed like a bit of a scam and notices around the hotel for a £1 charge for losing a paper wristband was laughable. Overall does the job I suppose, just feels very overpriced for what it is

Disliked: A little out of the town centre, but not much can be done about that.

Liked: Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location.
Disliked: The shower wasn't very powerful and the temperature fluctuated.

Liked: Great location, kids loved the swimming pool and breakfast. Room comfortable and hotel currently undergoing a refurbish. As a non smoker didn’t like it that the cigarette and pot smokers/vapers were literally gathered right outside the main entrance puffing away.
