Nice location near a must-see...

Liked: The place - La Gacilly is beautiful, and this camping-like place is well situated in it. The price was good; we just needed a one-night stay before getting up early and heading to the airport.Anyway, this specific unit is minimalistic and cheap, we took it only because we knew we would just sleep there; but last year we took another unit there, and it was much better. So, bottom line - I recommend the place.
Disliked: We phoned the reception and told them we arrive late for check-in, they said the room will be open and the key will be inside. When we arrived, the key was indeed inside, but the door was locked... it took 1/2 hour to find their emergency number, and some challenging conversations in French, and a helpful by-passer, to get us in.

Liked: Nice chalet in campsite. Very natural area. Right next to Gacilly where there is a yearly photography festival every year with large photo displays all around the village (free entry). Village nice with many places to eat and drink. On edge of fantastic forest. Next to river and wetlands nature reserve.

Liked: Picturesque, peaceful and a great location. We stayed as a family in a three bedroom chalet, it was a bit small but comfortable enough. The staff were friendly and helpful and the site was lovely. La Gacilly is five minute walk away and is a fascinating, artistic town the visit with plenty of good places to eat and drink.We have a lovely stay!
