Great value, nice motel in...

Liked: This is a nice motel located within a block or two of several nice restaurants. The management was responsive to our needs and took great care of the property. The gardening in public spaces was well done.
Disliked: There was nothing not to like. We will stay here again on our next visit to Hood River.

Nice quiet location for a...

Liked: Location. Away from heavy street noise & downtown construction noise and congestion. Quiet neighborhood atmosphere with easy drive to restaurants. Has a very 60s vibe with quaint yard and outdoor sitting areas. Good area for pet walking. The AC/Heating unit is very effective and quiet. Made for a great nights sleep.
Disliked: Could use some upgrades (vintage mattresses). If traveling with pets don't leave pet food out overnight as the bathroom area in our room on ground level had a small ant problem. More than likely due to age of facility and the usual settling that occurs over the years.

Comfortable and practical.

Liked: It was close to town and the church where the memorial service was.
Disliked: The bathroom didn’t have any hand soap bars in it.And there were no hangers on the rack for my clothes
