Comfortable stay in great location

Liked: Great location with view of Saint Lawrence river from large balcony with tables—-great for eating a takeout meal or drinks. No direct river access. Within 5-10 kilometers of Highway 401 on Thousand Island Parkway. A 15 minute drive to US border crossing with 5 minute line. Great breakfast with fresh fruit cocktail, as well as homemade eggs & toast. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. A 5 minute drive to Gananoque with multiple river cruises, restaurants and across the street from bike trail. A half hour to Kingston with art galleries and Ft. Henry.
Disliked: Nothing

Odd but overall very nice.

Liked: Excellent breakfast with lots of options including gluten free, very nice bed and room, small refrig in room, beautiful bath. Breakfast in very large room with a foosball table, besides outside seating.
Disliked: Odd - wanted to charge extra for breakfast. Breakfast room in back of the house accessed from outside.

Liked: The exterior of the building looked good.
Disliked: While there was potential for this to be a good place to stay, it seems to be operating on the cheap and that is evident is several areas. The towels are thin, bedding is flimsy, the curtains do not match, the common area furniture is on the second floor and is an outdoor plastic wicker couch. They charge for EVERYTHING. The chips, water, drinks, are all for a fee. The breakfast is also charged for. There are bicycles on the porch, also for a rental fee. If you are looking for a charming B and B where there are nice snacks and drinks on the counter to be enjoyed at will, and there is a real innkeeper who is present and helpful, this is not that place. The location is a particular problem, if you want to be within walking distance of the town. It is out on the parkway, away from everything. There is NO water access nearby. The bonus of staying in town would have been huge and we will be sure to check that fact more carefully next time,

Nice, comfortable place to stay.

Liked: Great location. Spacious room with view of river. Quiet. Delicious, generous breakfast provided by attentive staff.
Disliked: Check in was confusing. Also had difficulty getting back in later in the evening.

Liked: The room is very spacious, the surrounding is wide open and quiet , and is close to the river with lots of walking paths.
Disliked: The lay outs are different and the AC is not working good and noisy. It's only continental breakfast.

Liked: The room was clean and the staff was friendly.
Disliked: Breakfast, snacks, and bottle water were an additional charge. The coffee maker was located in the foyer but you had to provide your own k-cups. We went to McDonald’s each morning for breakfast and coffee. Was not a typical bed & breakfast atmosphere.
