Overall a pleasant stay.

Liked: We stayed for two nights and found that tbe public areas were nice and roomy with plenty of seating. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The bedroom was good, with heavy curtains which were great to keep out the light and it was quiet for sleeping .
Disliked: The only slight comment I wasn’t impressed with was the rusty shampoo/soap holder in the shower and an old contact lens in the shower base. Breakfast was very nice. Had dinner one night and the jus was so salty on the fillet steak couldn’t eat it. Next night had steak pie and it was lovely.

Disliked: Food wasn’t great had to send it back.

All in all a pleasant...

Liked: Lovely bar and restaurant area with nice atmosphere.
Disliked: Mattress on bed was very uncomfortable so did not enjoy a good nights sleep

Ok for one night

Liked: Good location for a wedding in a nearby hotel. The lobby is lovely. A staff member pre-booked a taxi for us.
Disliked: Outdated rooms. Shower room had an old fashioned and temperamental shower. Breakfast was old fashioned and only gluten free option was packets of cereal which you had to ask for.
