Our stay in Sligo was...

Liked: The Riverside Hotel is close to town and its staff are all so friendly. The hotel has a great bar and restaurant.
Disliked: Nothing all good

Liked: Location, generous sized room
Disliked: We were street side and in the morning lots of noise when the empty beer kegs were being loaded up. Bedcover, duvet too thick and hot. Room did not cool down with window open. Seems that most hotels have gone with the white duvets and so no option of just using a sheet when the room is warm. There is a limited on-site parking and if parking on the street need to purchase a ticket.

Will return to Sligo, and...

Liked: Location was great, easy to reach the city centre on foot, and lovely to have the white noise of the river outside our window. In particular, the bed was huge - a real bonus!
Disliked: The car parking area was very limited - drop off and pick up only. The staff were most helpful in suggesting overnight parking spaces.
