Liked: Very cute colourful houses, and being near a little trail by the river is a great plus! Also, big supermarket in walkable distance.
Disliked: The whirlpool didn't work at the time.Despite many of the houses being clearly vacant, we had a team of construction workers / handymen right beside ours (staying there, not doing construction there), with their huge trucks and very loud talking and motor noise very early in the morning when they left for work. Front desk handled it very professionally when we mentioned it and they indeed were quieter after that, but it would have been nice if the room placements were planned better. We booked half a year in advance so surely it should have been possible to place expectedly loud guests by trade elsewhere with some foresight.

A relaxing trip that felt...

Liked: The place is very cute, and it's so nice to be able to open the front doors and all the windows and let the cool breeze come through. We shared the patio with my in-laws, so we ate outside most nights, had a BBQ, and would just walk around the place without worrying about locking anything up. It was kind of luxury camping, which I think is better than staying at a boring hotel. Our daughter met some other girls and played and went swimming with them. Great if you have a kid or two..
Disliked: I think if the toilet was a bit updated and if we had a larger bed like my in-laws, it would've been a bit better, but not much to complain about. It would be nice if they had two-bedroom cottages, but that's about it.

Liked: Loved the place. It is very clean, beautiful surrounding.

Friendly staff at a well...

Liked: The high point was our wine tasting on Sunday night hosted by Tracine and Thomas. They were so friendly and ackowledgable. The freee wine gift was certainly a plus. The check in was quick and easy and the cottage was clean albeit small (one bedroom/living room with a fold out couch) for four people.
Disliked: Many of the reviews talk about renting two cottages and sharing the deck. I had never been there before and did not understand that the decks are shared between two units. We woke up at 8:00 a.m. and went to bed around 11:00 p.m. Our neighbors woke up at 5:30 a.m. and went to bed at least by 9:00 pm because they had all lights out and "do not distrub" signs out when we got back from dinner. Therefore we did not feel comfortable using the deck with our neighbors. Considering how small the units are you really need that outside space.
