Riverfront Hotel

Fine for an overnight stay

Disliked: 1. When I checked in the desk person was eating dinner. She didn't bother to get up and wait on me, but sat in her chair with all her food in front of her while checking me in.2. Breakfast was from 6-10 AM. We went to breakfast at 9:00 AM. There was 1 egg and 1 biscuit in hot pan and NO waffle mix in container to make a waffle. No one was at desk, there was a telephone number to call -- which I called, but no one answered.3. Computer chair in room was shabby (#121 or #123)

It'll do in a pinch.

Liked: Convenience was the key. There were simply no other places around with a decent price. Good A/C, hot shower, and free breakfast. It'll do in a pinch.
Disliked: An old location. The outside can use some maintenance such as the lawn. In addition, the entrance had loose tiles and water on the floor from a leaky A/C. The carpet on the stairs was old, dirty and worn out.

Bad

Liked: Price
Disliked: No handicap accessibility to the second floor where we were booked. No elevator. No pool/hot tub despite advertising. The smell. The creaky bed that was hard as a rock. Dirty carpet in the room. Room phone didn't work. Teeny tiny toilet you have lower yourself onto carefully if you're tall. Dirty tub. I was up at dawn booking something else for the rest of my trip. I paid more, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Poor

Liked: The room was ok and looked clean. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is right on the river and you can walk down to the beach. The waffles for breakfast were good.
Disliked: But the whole place looked unkempt. We could see into the next room with bed that had bee left unmade from the last visitors. The first night it looked like we were the only ones in the place. The second night others were in the hotel. For the same price we could have stayed in much nicer hotels.
