On the edge of the Peak District the Riverbank B&B sits on the banks of the River Derwent in Matlock. Riverbank offers country-house style rooms free fishing and free parking. Rooms at the family-run Riverbank Guest House feature bathrooms with power showers and hairdryers. The individually designed rooms also include a TV radio and tea/coffee making facilities. Cooked English and continental breakfasts are served in the quaint dining room. Produce is sourced locally and the Riverbank can cater for most dietary requirements. Near the heart of the...

Liked: Location just off the town centre but quiet. Host was very friendly and helpful with restaurant and pub options nearby. Breakfast staff were friendly and quick with service, which was much appreciated as we had a 9.00a.m appointment up the road. Room and ensuite were very clean and beds were very comfortable. Local supermarket is only 5 min walk over the station footbridge, ideal for picking up walking snacks.
Disliked: Nothing.
