More cons than pros

Liked: The bed was comfortable.Near a station.Some staff were very kind.
Disliked: Very noisy: I could hear my neighbors conversations, the ding of the elevator, the train, the planes. I couldn't sleep because it was so noisy.Also, every time I went to the front desk, there was a long line with only one staff frantically working.I was put in an accessible room though I didn't book one. There was no tub, rather it had a bench and handheld shower.I had requested an early check in , in advanced, because my overnight flight from Asia arrived in the morning. Everyone in line before me was given a room but I was told to come back at 4pm. To access the food court you must actually enter the casino which requires waiting in a line to have ID checked.

Hidden fees

Liked: Convient location with decent food options. Nice view into marina
Disliked: Extra charges. Total cost more than booking app total, they included the resort and destination fees with taxes but don't include system fees daily as well as daily deposits..lots of hidden charges. Read the small print. Beds old, carpet sticky, fridge not cold, bathrooms have lots of black mold type spots, small elevators for such a large number of people. Definetly expected more for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful though.

Acceptable mostly- not the level...

Liked: Location is great! The hotel is beautiful
Disliked: The elevators went down and the staff at reception was NOT helpful nor could we get to our room as there was no way to our floor- we got trapped in the stairwell (where a huge spider was- reported to security afterwards- they laughed at us- even though it us in the stairwell and caused us to be scared-) this event took us 1h30min to resolve- to get access to our room. Again the reception dismissed our concerns and was obviously annoyed. Very unprofessional lady. She should if ENSURED we could get to our room not just tell us to take the stairs- then find out we were trapped in the stairwell.

Liked: Location is great. We are transiting from YVR to Victoria. It is a perfect connecting spot with Skytrain station and bus terminal to the Ferries there. There's an authentic Cantonese restaurant just beside the hotel. And one can always find something to eat in the Casino's food court till 3am if they arrive via a late flight.
