Great hotel to spend time in. Close to downtown Memphis and Beale Street. Staff is extremely courteous and friendly. Cannot say enough good things about this wonderful hotel!
Liked: Price of room; view of Mississippi River; dining options (fine dining, Paulette's, sports bar/casual, Tugg's); very friendly atmosphere; overall a wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend and would definitely return. Great spot to stay in Memphis!

Liked: The bed was super comfortable with very soft sheets and wonderful towels. The location was great with access to the bike trails and view of the Mississippi River. The truffles and drink at night was a nice touch. Parking was easy.
Disliked: the "included breakfast" was super limited - you choose from a very small menu with limited options and small portions what you can have. The service at the restaurant (Paulette's) at the hotel, which is where you get breakfast was terribly slow. It took forever to get a bowl of cereal!! Be aware there is a $9 per day fee that they told me was for servicing the room but on the receipt it said it was a resort fee.

It was a perfect stay...
Liked: Breakfast was awesome and the location was perfect. Enjoyed the river view and relative seclusion of the property while enjoying several dining options.
Disliked: The champaign could have been colder upon arrival and a bottle in the room would have been even better,The hotel entrance from the rear parking lot could have been better signed.

Very disappointing room quality, amenities...
Liked: Room furnishings (except beds) and service were excellent and the breakfast food was good and enjoyable. Very nice location on Mud Island.
Disliked: - Cleanliness was lacking in several areas. The room carpet was disgustingly dirty, even having that slight sticky feel (wearing socks, they got completely black after walking around just a bit). Elevator carpets, both in the main lobby going up to the Terrace as well as going up to the room in the other building above Tug's, were filthy with obvious high traffic and hadn't been cleaned in a long time. - Two Twin Beds just pushed together with King sheets do not equate to a King bed, sorry! Very obvious and uncomfortable gap in the middle. Charging people for a King bed room and then doing this is unacceptable.- One of the mattresses was old and worn with a large uncomfortable dip in the middle, like sleeping in a pothole.- Guy at front desk seemed to always be on the phone, but never got back to us on a request to help find some things that the website said were included in the room, but were not actually in the room.- No in-room coffeemaker or microwave.

Here to visit my daughter....
Liked: We love this place!! It is perfectly situated in relation to our daughter's residence and very nice. The breakfast included with the room is delightful.
Disliked: A view of the river, but we did book late.

Liked: The area was beautiful by the river and near by restaurants were inviting...nevertheless we headed down to BB Kings for baby back ribs and jazz/Blues music and enjoyed that immensely. The chocolates and port wine were a treat to come back to. Staff were responsive and friendly.
Disliked: The A/c shut off at night and the room became warm...just did not expect that at this luxury resort.
