River Hotel

Good location, clean with helpful...

Liked: Good location. Garden in the back on the river. Clean. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.
Disliked: Is somewhat “dated” and I always find the quality for the money in UK hotels to be questionable. Basically it is a comfortable friendly hotel fine for a few nights in Oxford but expensive for what you get compared to most of Europe.

Charming B&B in the middle...

Liked: Very close to city center. Breakfast was large and tasty. Staff was attentive to my needs (put a fan in my room without even me needing to ask because it was hot).

Disliked: Minor modernization in the room is recommended.

Liked: The staff was really friendly and caring. From checking in and having a talk with the receptionist about my plans in Oxford, to the staff who served breakfast and even opened up the restaurant earlier, because I had business appointments already in the morning, to the staff taking care of the room. It was a great experience.Further experiences I liked:- surroundings of the hotel, the garden- authentic rooms (a bit old fashioned but this made it so authentic and ovely!)- lovely decorations in the hotel
