Fantastic, friendly, clean, central. one...

Liked: Great location, friendly family ran B&B. We were well looked after. Easy check in. Facilities and rooms were lovely & clean, tea/coffee/ hot choc and biscuits tray, en-suite/ shower great & clean, yards/ 2 min wander along the street to the town centre. A big YES, requiring a mention (& something I like to see in reviews), was the Breakfast! Fill in/ request sheet the day/night before, including; fresh fruit, yoghurt, wonderfully cooked non-greasy full english, eggs on toast etc. At breakfast offered toast options, hot drinks options, there were little glass bottles of milk & orange juice on each table, jams/condiments, and then on the side table there was a lovely variety of Kilner jars to help yourself to, containing cereals, granola, oats! (not just mini branded cereal boxes and sugary flavoured yoghurt pots!). A huge bonus for me was jars also containing, nuts & seed mixes AND whole peanut butter!! These whole/healthy fats are a fantastic addition for well balanced breakfast options, so something important to me, its very rare to see at a lot of hotels & B&Bs, so when I see them my eyes light up, fabulous! Definitely worth the price and very top of the list for visiting Keswick which is something we do often. We have booked again for our next trip!
Disliked: Nothing not to like for us!

Okay for a walking group...

Liked: The location was excellent The breakfast was tasty.
Disliked: There was 2 beds pushed together. My bed was much much softer and too soft. I had such a bad back I laid on the floor in the middle of the second night. There was no dressing table. So I sat on the floor with my portable mirror trying to do my hair and makeup. The towels were too small- bath towels would have been appreciated. Limited Breakfast choices. Would've liked something different the next day.
