Ritz Inn Niagara

Bad

Disliked: Map shows it is next to Niagra Falls but it is some 2 kilometer away from the waterfall or you take some expensive cable car with walk of 500 meters. The taps in toilets were very noisy and scary. Microwave was broken Sheets curtains were very old and front door of room was't secure at all exiting to public street. Anyone from the city can enter. Staff did't welcome me at all and somehow rude. I will not recommend if you coming to visit Niagra Falls. They also took $150 as a deposit that usually never returned in North America but luckily I got it back.

Liked: AC was good, and the bed was comfy .
Disliked: The building was a dump

A lot nicer than it...

Liked: Good location tucked away near all the big corporate hotels and restaurants. Close enough to walk to the Falls if you're relatively healthy and can walk steep hills coming back. Rooms are much nicer than the outside of the hotel presents. And I was "upgraded" to the hot tub suite!
Disliked: I was told when I checked in that I would be charged $10 for parking but after sweet talking the check in hostess she "waived" that. There were some people who appeared to live at the hotel but I was told they didn't. Maybe they were the "parking security".I was on a motorcycle and I put a trash bag over one of my packs that I left on the bike. When I got up the next morning the trash bag had the drawings pulled right and tied into knots. The wind was blowing so maybe someone thought they were doing me a favor by cinching the drawings down to keep the bag from blowing off. Either way it's dangerous to touch someone's motorcycle!

Liked: Location, price, polite managers.
Disliked: Old furniture, dirty territory.Smoking areas everywhere.Pictures on website doesn't match the reality.

It was clean and close...

Liked: The location and the price. Our room also had a fridge amd microwave and sink which saved us money from the Niagara food prices.
Disliked: I understand the inn is an older building. It could have been the room we stayed in but the lighting was very poor. The bathroom had 3 bulb spots but only one in it. Also in the living area it was just a 60watt bulb lamp. Also the staff wasn't super knowledgeable on the upkeep and maintenance. I was also side winded on the fee to park my vehicle there. Like just include that in the fee or something

Liked: Bed was comfy..it was clean
Disliked: The jet tub didn't work..I had no coffee maker ..got cups..the TV kept cutting in and out while ymtying to watch Netflix..no pool no breakfast
