Exceptional

Liked: The staff was friendly & helpful, the room was very nice, we liked the outdoor pool (the indoor pool was temporarily closed for some reason), the workout room room looked very nice but I didn't get to it.

Not cheap, but very comfortable...

Liked: This was just a stop-over on a long road trip, so I wasn't expecting much, but was very impressed with the spaciousness & quality of the room, the lighting, furniture, linen, bed, and bathroom finishes. A very restful night.
Disliked: The weird zig-zag passages and the architectural design of the building were quite off-putting and out-dated. Too much facebrick!

Cheapest around with decent cleanliness...

Liked: It was the cheapest option right off the highway. The staff was pleasant.
Disliked: It was so outdated there weren’t even plugs near the beds for phones. There were only 2 pillows per bed which were mostly flat. The walk was long to get to our part of the hotel. There we scuffs on the doors. It just looked worn out but not dirty though there was a dead bug under the bedside table.

Disliked: Room bed was a double not a king bed. The coffeemaker did not work.No shower curtain.Since reservation was made through Booking they will not reimburse us for the room difference. One manager said we would receive a $25 discount never explained what for.

We love staying at the...

Liked: We love the pool, and Spa. Unfortunately, the trip we take every year doesn't get us there in time to use it much as we get there between 9:30 and 10:00 and would love it if the pool area was open until 11:00. There needs to be an update made to the message on the television that states Petals is closed for renovations. Had I not called the desk to ask about it, we may have chosen to eat somewhere else.
Disliked: Not so much that we didn't like it, but the bare uncarpeted floor in room 507 was a bit cold. We understand that it probably is much easier to keep clean and sanitary so no real complaints. Our room, was an adjoined room and we could hear conversation on the other side of the door. Better sound-proofing there might be advised, but again...not complaining.
